1. Who this policy applies to
This Privacy Policy applies to visitors, account owners, administrators, and team members who use Remoticano. A customer company controls how its workspace is configured and how its team members are monitored. For workforce data processed on a customer’s instructions, the customer is generally the data controller and Remoticano acts as its service provider or processor.
2. Information we collect
We may collect account and contact details such as names, email addresses, telephone numbers, company information, billing address, and postal code; subscription, invoice, and payment-reference information; support and chat messages; device, browser, IP address, session, security, and diagnostic data; and workspace data submitted through the Service. Workspace data may include work-session times, activity levels, application or system status, team and department details, and screenshots captured according to the customer’s settings.
3. How we collect information
We receive information directly from you when you register, purchase, contact support, or change settings; from customer-authorized administrators and team members; automatically through the website, desktop application, and service logs; and from service providers such as payment, email-delivery, hosting, and online-chat providers.
4. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, provide time-tracking and workforce-management features, process subscriptions and confirm payments, send verification and service messages, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, diagnose problems, maintain and improve the Service, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by an external payment provider. Payment-card or bank-account credentials are entered into the provider’s payment environment and are handled under that provider’s privacy and security terms. We may receive and retain transaction status, amount, date, invoice details, and a payment or gateway reference needed for accounting, support, fraud prevention, and subscription activation.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies and session storage to keep you signed in, remember necessary workflow state, protect accounts, and operate core features. Third-party services embedded in the site, including online chat, may use their own cookies or similar technologies. You can restrict cookies in your browser, but disabling essential cookies may prevent sign-in or other parts of the Service from working.
7. When information is shared
We may share only the information needed with providers that help us host the Service, store data, deliver email, process payments, provide online chat, monitor security, or supply technical infrastructure. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the Service, in connection with a corporate transaction, or when you direct or authorize us to do so. Customer workspace administrators can access data associated with their company and team members according to their permissions.
8. International processing
Our providers or infrastructure may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we take steps designed to provide an appropriate level of protection for cross-border processing. By using the Service, you understand that data may be processed in locations where privacy laws differ from those in your jurisdiction.
9. Data retention and deletion
We retain account, subscription, payment, security, and support records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Screenshot retention follows the Service settings selected for the workspace, and authorized administrators may delete screenshots from the management panel. Deleted or expired data may remain briefly in restricted backups before routine removal.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Screenshot blurring can be enabled for roles that handle confidential information; when enabled, the desktop application blurs the image before upload. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so users must also protect their credentials and devices.
11. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal information, or to withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. Account owners can update certain details in the Service. Team members should normally submit workspace-data requests to their employer or customer company first, because that organization controls the workspace. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
12. Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for organizations and working-age users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in circumstances where parental or other legally required authorization has not been obtained.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, Service, or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or by email when appropriate.
14. Contact us
